Nice: grief and disgrace

Facing hatred while mourning the dead. Report in the city of Nice, after the july 14th attack.

In July 2016 I was shooting this little film about Nice and its racism from the depths, in which the question was asked; what will happen next? Naturally it was hard to imagine that a month later the police would be allowed to raid on the beaches to undress Muslim women, in the name of good morals, competing largely with the most disgusting Taliban in terms of coercion . But should we be truly surprised, in a city where a monument to the glory of colonization is throne in its center? The question is rather; what do we decide to stem this terrifying progression of racism?
